In the midst of growing calls for investment for millennials, BRI Danareksa Sekuritas held an internal agenda entitled "Sharing Session on Sectoral Economic Analysis: E-commerce and Fintech", inviting the General Chair of idEA Bima Laga as one of the speakers. At the event which was held last Monday, August 22 via Zoom, Bima provided the latest information about the E-Commerce and Fintech industry to the participants, which consisted of the BRI Danareksa Sekuritas Research Team and the PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Research Team.

Bima explained, in this digital era, the existence of E-Commerce and Fintech cannot be separated from one another. Both complement each other and form a digital ecosystem. The value of Digital Economy transactions in Indonesia itself, based on Google Temasek 2021 data, reaches $70 billion, of which $53 billion is E-Commerce Transactions. The dominance of E-Commerce transactions is predicted to still occur in 2025. Supported by consumer behavior that continues to adapt to new post-pandemic customs, the E-Commerce industry still looks promising.
