In the framework of the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement in North Maluku, on July 5, a direct Kick Off activity was carried out from Sofifi, North Maluku, as a ceremonial start of a series of activities. On this occasion, Odo R.M Manuhutu, Deputy for Tourism and Creative Economy Coordination, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment delivered a virtual speech. In his remarks, Odo expressed his hope that more MSME and BUMDes products from North Maluku would be included in the LKPP catalog so that the North Maluku Regional Government and the Central Government could purchase them. Furthermore, he advised MSMEs to always maintain trust and product quality, as the key to successful business progress.

One of the series of events from the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement in North Maluku is the North Maluku BUMDes and MSME Training, which will be held for 6 sessions, starting on July 12, 2022. The 6 training sessions cover various important topics for the advancement of MSMEs, including photo techniques using cell phones. , content creation, to advertising and promotion strategies.
