As one of the directorates overseeing the ecosystem of Trade Through Electronic Systems (PMSE), idEA routinely holds industry update meetings with the Directorate of Electronic Commerce and Services (PMSEPJ) under the Ministry of Trade. This meeting covered several issues, including the Draft Digital Platform Worker Roadmap, plans to revise Government Regulations (PP) 71/2019 and 80/2019, the revision of the Consumer Protection Law, e-commerce taxation, and the submission of PPMSE data to BPS (Statistics Indonesia). PMSEPJ Director, Mr. Rifan Ardianto, also provided updates on the planned Regulatory Sandbox program and a review of the implementation of Ministerial Regulation 31/2023. As a follow-up, idEA will prepare standby statements on listing fees and admin fees. Moreover, at the beginning of 2025, the Ministry of Trade plans to invite idEA, alongside marketplace platforms, to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships for hosting promotional events during festive periods such as Chinese New Year and Eid al-Fitr.
