Last Wednesday 30 August, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information held the National Forum on Personal Data Protection (FNPDP) in Badung, Bali. FNPDP raises the theme "Accelerating Digital Transformation through PDP Implementation", with the aim of implementing the Law and providing a strong foundation for sustainable and responsible digital transformation.

Representatives from the Secretariat of the Indonesian E-Commerce Association together with a number of members also attended the agenda which was held to facilitate discussion space between the government and stakeholders in the process of drafting the Draft Government Regulation on Personal Data Protection (RPP PDP) as a derivative regulation of Law no. 27 of 2022 concerning the Protection of Personal Data (UU PDP).
