Last Monday, July 11, the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) held an audience with the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Zulkifli Hasan. The General Chair of idEA Bima Laga, conveyed several collaborations that had been carried out between idEA and the Ministry of Trade, including the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement, MoU with the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Commerce Regulations, to monitoring the sale of cooking oil on the online marketplace.

The hearing was warmly welcomed by the Minister of Trade. The Minister of Trade advised that the strong online marketplace ecosystem in Indonesia be utilized to export more of Indonesia's leading products abroad. At the hearing, several representatives of idEA member companies such as Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Blibli, Bhinneka, Shopee, GoTo, JD ID, Grab, and Lazada were also present.
