Last Friday July 7, Deputy Chairperson of idEA Ardhanti Nurwidya attended the APEC Digital Month Preparation Meeting. The APEC Digital Month - Building a Digital Pacific for All will be held from 29 July - 21 August in Seattle, United States of America. The agenda this time with the main theme "Creating a Resilient and Sustainable Future for All" will have several topics, including Digital Trade, Data Privacy, Closing the Digital Skill Gap, to Supporting AI at Scale.

Relevant Ministries, Institutions and Associations in Indonesia are expected to actively participate in the APEC Digital Month series, for example by receiving capacity building or sharing of best practices on strategic issues, ensuring that discussions on the digital economy are in accordance with Indonesia's interests, and anticipating that the results of the workshop will become references for recommendations which in the future may intersect with Indonesia's position on sensitive issues.

As for idEA, as the association that oversees the digital ecosystem, will participate by making policy recommendations, and hoping for a global alignment, including on digital transformation issues.
