BPOM Digital Literacy Activity Preliminary Meeting
Last Monday, February 27, the RI POM Agency held a Preliminary Meeting on Digital Literacy Activities for Young Friends of Beauty Enthusiasts. As an association that has built close collaboration with BPOM, idEA was also present on the agenda represented by Virzah Syalvira as Public Policy & Data Manager from the Secretariat.
Seeing the widespread circulation of illegal cosmetics with dangerous ingredients, the POM will form the Sahabat Muda Beauty Enthusiast movement to help voice the dangers of illegal cosmetics on various social media platforms. This young friend will later be provided with training regarding how to choose safe cosmetics, monitoring cosmetic side effects, and cosmetic complaint schemes that do not meet the requirements. It is hoped that the Sahabat Muda Movement will be able to help monitor the distribution of cosmetics in the community, and actively report violation findings through social media, whatsapp and BPOM e-mail.
