Last Thursday, April 6, the Indonesian E-Commerce Association had the opportunity to attend a meeting with the Indonesian Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Teten Masduki, to discuss content handling and the sale of imported illegal used clothing.

In the meeting which was also attended by the media, Teten stated that the take-down process for accounts selling illegal used clothes had been underway. The take-down policy is the result of a joint agreement between the government and e-commerce. Head of Logistics for the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA), Even Alex Chandra emphasized the joint commitment of e-commerce members who are members of idEA to continue to monitor the circulation of illegal used clothing, and invite the public to report findings of illegal products in e-commerce so that they can act immediately.
