G20 National Strategic Stakeholders Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) Meeting
Towards the weekend, Friday 4 February, the Indonesian E-Commerce Association attended an invitation from the Secretariat General of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information for the National Strategic Stakeholders meeting to discuss the G20 Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) work plan. Not only idEA, this event was also attended by representatives from the Indonesian Big Data Association (ABDI), the Indonesian Telematics Society (MASTEL), Siberkreasi, Indonesia Cyber Security Forum (ICSF), and the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII).
On this occasion, representatives from each stakeholder who were present conveyed their suggestions and views on what the Digital Economy Working Group should prioritize work. idEA, represented by Mrs. Astri Wahyuni as the Deputy General Chairperson, expressed her support for the DEWG work priority plan, and was willing to actively contribute, especially to the issue of Digital Skills, Digital Literacy and Crossborder Data Flow. This support received appreciation from the Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, who hoped that idEA and its members could provide substance enrichment so that the issues presented by Indonesia at the G20 Global forums could become more inclusive and provide solutions to problems in the field.
idEA members who have suggestions and views on Digital Economy issues that need to be discussed further in the Digital Economy Working Group, can submit them to the Association to be compiled and submitted to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Information.
