Last Friday, December 8, the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) collaborated with the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) to launch the INTERAKSI Program (Input BPOM Distribution Permit Numbers during Promotion) and Public Explanation/Public Warning for Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics in to increase public awareness of product legality and safety.

On this occasion, idEA and a number of marketplace platforms signed a commitment to guarantee the legality of the products sold and participate in the INTERAKSI program. Deputy General Chair of idEA Budi Primawan said that idEA members always strive to create a safe and comfortable online shopping environment. As an association, idEA will continue to support and invite more members to participate and run the INTERAKSI program.
