Training and Capital Access Support for BAKTI Kominfo 2021 National Scale

Whether we admit it or not, in fact our economic situation is not prime. The pandemic came unexpectedly, we were confronted without any preparation. One of the most affected is MSME actors, which incidentally are the backbone of the nation's economy.

Hit by the pandemic, many entrepreneurs have switched to digital mode, aka selling in online stores. This is reasonable and is the best solution, because with an online store, buying and selling transactions can continue without face-to-face activities. However, many SMEs are not familiar with this online selling activity. In addition, there are still limited facilities and infrastructure, such as the condition of the internet signal that has not been evenly distributed to the limitations of technological devices owned by MSME actors.

Seeing this phenomenon, BAKTI Kominfo collaborates with the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) to organize business development training as well as provide information on capital assistance that all MSME actors in Indonesia can participate in for free. This training is not the first time, in 2020 BAKTI Kominfo has also hired idEA to run a similar training. The difference is, this year's training focuses on fostering MSME actors in the culinary field. In addition, this year's training will not only provide material about business development, but also information on capital, with support from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the Government Investment Center and Bank BRI. This training entitled “Training and Support for Access to Capital for BAKTI Kominfo 2021”, was held online and on a national scale, with the aim of helping as many MSME actors as possible.

In this training, participants were given 8 comprehensive materials, ranging from digital marketing strategies, capital management, to information about capital. The training, which was held from May 24, 2021 to June 9, 2021, is expected to open the eyes of MSME actors who are participants that selling online is an alternative that is worth trying, and that selling online is not as difficult as imagined. There are many alternative ways that don't require a lot of cost and technological equipment, but can still attract the hearts of potential buyers.
