As one of a series of events from the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement in North Maluku, the North Maluku BUMDes and UMKM Training which consists of 6 training sessions has been started since last July 12, and will be completed on July 29 next. Not only in the form of a Zoom session, this training is also equipped with a consultation session, one day after the Resource Person delivers the material via Zoom. Thus, participants have time to practice new knowledge from resource persons. After trying the practice, participants were given the opportunity to ask for input and consult the obstacles faced by the resource persons in the consultation session. The consultation session was held via Whatsapp Group, so that the answers from the resource persons in the form of chat could be read back by participants in the future.

This training session covered various important topics for the advancement of UMKM, including photo techniques using cellphones, content creation, to advertising and promotion strategies. The material is taught from the ground up, to accommodate participants who are still very new to the digital world. After the 6 training sessions were completed, participants were also directed to take part in Skill Up training organized by Top Brands and partners supporting the event. As the output of the training, participants are expected to have mature knowledge about onboarding and experience an increase in business turnover.
