As the pinnacle of appreciation for MSME players who are able to survive and continue to grow in the midst of a pandemic, last Tuesday December 13, the Ministry of SOEs together with BRI, Pawnshops and the Indonesian E-Commerce Association held the Peak Night of the Proud Made in Indonesia Award 2022. After going through a series of curation, selection and judging tight, the 3 best MSME finalists from 4 categories were selected, and the public can choose the winners themselves through public voting.

Voting results are announced on the Summit Night, where the Champions are invited directly to the stage and awarded the trophy by the Ministers. ABBI winners were 101 Coffee from West Kalimantan as the Culinary Category Champion, Songket Pash from South Sulawesi as the Fashion Category Champion, Lamops Craftworks from NTB as the Crafts Category Champion, and Arcia from West Kalimantan as the Beauty and Fitness Category Champion. In addition to MSMEs, selected IKMs were also awarded the Inspirational IKM award. The Champions and all attendees were also entertained by Stand Up Comedy from Gilang Bhaskara, a performance from HIVI! and Kahitna, as well as readers of the nominations.

On this occasion, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, along with Deputy Minister of BUMN I Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, also inaugurated the Proud to Travel in Indonesia Movement or BBWI, which will soon be promoted to boost domestic tourist interest and grow pride in the beauty of Indonesia.
