The Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) took part in the Public Discussion titled E-Commerce Ecosystem Outlook 2018 at the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kemenkominfo) on Monday (19/2). This discussion was held as part of the cooperation effort of ecosystem perpetrators of e-commerce in Indonesia, in order to realize the great vision of Indonesian government, become the largest digital economy in Southeast Asia in 2020.

Discussions present perspectives from a wide range of stakeholders, from digital platform providers, policymakers and other ecommerce support ecosystems.

On that occasion, the Chair of idEA, Mr. Aulia Marinto explained how the ecosystem picture of ecosystem in Indonesia is present and future, the potential of multi-stakeholder collaboration and synergy in ecommerce eco-system in Indonesia, as well as future challenges that can be faced together to maintain the sustainability of the ecommerce ecosystem, as well as on the digital transformation for SMEs.

In addition to Mr. Aulia, various other speakers were also present in this discussion, including Ms. Thayyiba Mother as Deputy Assistant of Creative Economic Development, Coordinating Ministry of Economy, Mr. Kusumo Martanto as CEO of Blibli.com, and many others.
