Jakarta, May 9, 2018 The Indonesian E-commerce Association (IDEA) organizes seminars on the topic "Global Data Transfer Activity in the Aspect of Digital Economic Regulation" aimed at providing information and education to participants on the benefits of global data transfer as well as providing inputs to the Government consider the benefits of data transfer activity from the industry side and existing practices.

In this seminar, the speakers were Mrs. Epsilon Akbar Analysis (Business Intelligence Team Lead Rumah123.com), Mr. Joshua P Meltzer (Senior Fellow, Global Brookings Institution) and Mr. Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan (Director General of Informatics Applications, Ministry of Communications and Informatics) .

The seminar was hosted by Executive Director, Indonesian E-Commerce Association, Nazrya Octora.

The first presentation session of Mrs. Epsilon Big Analysis (Business Intelligence Team Lead, Rumah123.com) describes the implementation of data transfer in the digital economy of industry players' eyes.

Furthermore, Mr. Joshua P Meltzer (Senior Fellow, Global Brookings Institution) gave his report on Indonesia: Regulating for Digital Economy.

While the presentation session of global data transfer activities from the regulator's point of view, Mr. Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan (Director General of Informatics Applications, Ministry of Communications and Informatics) gave his explanation concerning the Rules of Electronic System Provider in the RPP of PP PSTE Changes.
