I Trust, I Buy, Kamis Commerce Volume II

Housed in Marley Bar & Food, The Energy Building 2nd Floor Area SCBD Lot 11A, Jakarta, IDEA again held their monthly event "Thursday Commerce". The event took place on April 4, 2013 is the second edition Thursday Commerce and the theme this time is "I Trust, I Buy".


This event was attended by approximately 100 participants from various groups, both of IDEA itself, the government, the perpetrators and instigators of e-commerce, as well as the press. The event was opened by Nirmala R. Hapsari, Head of Public Relations of the IDEA, which explains the urgency of the themes taken. According to him, the issue of 'trust' in the world of e-commerce is very fundamental. Therefore, it is important to understand that by grabbing the 'trust' of e-commerce Indonesia can grow up to be better.


Jullian Gafar, Deputy Chairman of IDEA, who gave a speech at the event, adding that 'trust' is an important issue in the world of e-commerce. Particularly in Indonesia, Jullian look at the issue of 'trust' is still very vulnerable. "Building trust, especially in our country which has a relatively low level of internet maturity, the issue of 'trust' to be very important," he concluded.
The event, which adopted the concept of a relaxed and informal talk show is divided into two sessions of discussion by presenting a credible four speakers in the world of e-commerce. The first session was attended by three speakers, namely Edward K. Suwignyo, Head of Marketing PT Multiply Indonesia, Rolf Monteiro, CEO of Living Social Indonesia, and Rama Mamuaya, as the Founder & Chief Executive DailySocial.


In the first session, the speaker told how their experience in building 'trust', efforts were made, either to consumers, merchants, and business associates. They are sharing their experience in achieving the 'trust' in the field of payment gateways and shipping services logistics is also an issue of strategic importance in the world of e-commerce Indonesia.


After this discussion is expected to build public confidence in shopping on e-commerce. IDEA also expect the issue of 'trust' is no longer a barrier for all parties, especially consumers to always participate in the world of e-commerce.
