For 25 years, Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection (UU-PK) has served as the legal foundation for protecting and ensuring consumer rights. However, its implementation has faced challenges, including changes in consumer behavior, rapid technological advancements, and the increasingly complex digital economy transformation.

To provide deeper insights into its application, Hukumonline collaborated with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to host a New Year's note discussion for 2025 titled "Quarter-Century Evaluation of the Consumer Protection Law: How Fair Is It for Consumers?" held on January 9, 2025. idEA had the honor of participating as a speaker, represented by the Head of E-Commerce, Mr. Claudio Faldo.
