FGD Trends and Challenges of Logistics and E-Commerce in Digital Growth
Last Thursday, February 10, idEA held a Focus Group Discussion with the theme of Logistics and E-Commerce Trends and Challenges in Digital Growth. This discussion presented Yudo Anggoro, Director of ITB School of Business and Management as speaker, and Putra Rizqi Agung Usman (idEA), Gharnis Athe Ginting (Gojek) and Tulus Abadi (YLKI) as responders and panelists.
In his presentation, Yudo mentioned that the main challenges of the logistics industry today are to ensure the security of consumer data, provide affordable services, how to handle consumer complaints and present cold-logistic services such as frozen food, drugs and vaccines. Regarding affordable services, Yudo stated that the government needs to build road and digital infrastructure, So that the 3T area can be reached more easily with more efficient logistics costs. Tulus added, consumer complaints about logistics and e-commerce that go into YLKI reflect a lack of consumer digital literacy. Thus, e-commerce and logistics service providers need to pay more attention to the education and digital literacy of consumers; both about the rights and obligations of consumers to product knowledge, so that buying and selling transactions on digital platforms become more enjoyable for all parties.
