The Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) also attended the Focus Group Discussion organized by the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS), last Tuesday 14 March. The FGD which took place at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta raised the theme of Indonesia's Readiness in Upholding the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement.

The discussion was initiated to discuss several issues, namely digital infrastructure, Open API and digital commerce. Furthermore, the issues in question include Human Resources, internet networks, cross-border digital payment systems, and digital trade. The hope is that the government can provide support for further negotiations regarding DEFA.
